Occupational Safety Program Developlment and Implementation
One of the most challenging aspects of ensuring the safety of your workers, volunteers, or event participants is developing safety programs to cover the hazardous conditions and processes that they face. Developing and implementing safety programs requires a balance between understanding and complying with federal, state, and local requirements and regulations as well as implementing effective strategies to mitigate the specific hazards of your workplace or event site.

From observing processes and developing hazard and risk analyses to writing evacuation and emergency response plans, laying the groundwork for effective safety programs can feel needlessly technical and complicated. My goal when I work with my clients is to ensure that not only are their immediate safety needs met, but that I have worked close enough with business owners, program managers, and others to ensure that they can take ownership over their safety programs and continue to develop them on their own well into the future.

My goal is to work myself out of a job. While I love working with longterm clients and community partners, they should never be reliant on me to ensure their safety. At the core of empowerment is self ownership over the tools of safe work and safe living.
